Today, Cooper graduated from Kindergarten. He was very nervous about his performance this morning. Once Daddy told him we could go eat lunch anywhere he wanted today, he seemed to loosen up and not be so nervous. His elementary school put on a great graduation ceremony. The kids sang so many songs and many of the songs had sign language. They all knew the words and the signs, and Cooper was up there just singing away. We were so proud of him and are so proud of how much he has learned and grown over this past year. He has had the best Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Gerrard. He loves her! And, you can tell that she loves these kids. She and Cooper love birds and talk about birds a lot. She tells me that Cooper is VERY quiet at school, which I am surprised about. I figured that he would be very outgoing, but he seems to be very reserved. He is such a wonderful and loving boy. I am so thankful to have that little guy. What a joy and blessing he is to our family!

They had the ceremony at Harbor High School. Cooper was very excited about getting to take his first school bus ride over (across the street :) to the High School.
We have some great Kindergarten teachers who are willing to be silly... and seem to enjoy it. They were "singing" while a little girl from the special needs class got to have a part in the program. It was just so sweet to see that little girl get a special moment.

Cooper and the best Kindergarten teacher ever! I hope that Sophie and Ava are lucky enough to get her for Kindergarten.
