Easter

Today was a rainy and gloomy Easter, but the kids didn't seem to mind. When we got Cooper and Sophie enjoyed looking through their Easter baskets. Drake's basket was wait for him to get home from his dad's house. It was his Easter with his dad this year and we missed him! We went to church this morning and got really wet, but the kids didn't seem to mind. After church, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Dossett's for Easter lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt. Dinner was great, but the kids couldn't hunt eggs outside due to the heavy rain, so Mark put the little kids in a circle on the floor and did an "egg toss". He tossed each kid eggs over and over until the hundreds of eggs were distributed. The kids didn't seem to mind not hunting outside...they laughed the whole time Mark tossed the eggs. For dinner, we went to Nana and Papa's house. Nana made a great fried chicken dinner!!! We all LOVED it!! The kids got all kinds for Easter goodies and they hunted for eggs outside since the rain had slowed to a drizzle. They had a blast!!
