First official bath

Ava Kate had her official "first" bath in the bathtub tonight. She is just now having a real bath, because she had an umbilical cord that refused to fall off. At 7 1/2 weeks, I finally took her back to the doctor to have him remove it. He used silver nitrate to remove it. I would NEVER do this again. I had no idea that it would burn her skin so badly. Her little belly button and surrounding skin was just raw. It even burned her around the top of her diaper. Anyway, I have been waiting for that to heal before actually sticking her in the tub. As you can see from the pictures, she did NOT enjoy the bathtub. But, she fell right to sleep as soon as it was over.
