After church, we went home and made cookies and milk for Santa and then left some carrots for his reindeer. Drake came home from his dad's and Mark read the kids "The Night Before Christmas", "Frosty The Snowman", and the story about Jesus' birth from the Bible. He does this every year and the kids love it. Sophie was read to a little earlier than the boys, because she needed to get to bed and Drake wasn't home yet. So, Mark read to the boys once Drake was home. Mark also checked the radar on the computer and showed the kids right where Santa was...he was getting really close to our house! So, off to bed they went. Cooper kept saying "I REALLY want to go to sleep, but I can't!!". He was just too excited, but was afraid Santa would come while he was still awake and not leave any presents!

Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve 2008, we took Cooper and Sophie over to Aunt Jennifer's house for dinner and gifts. Drake was at his dad's opening presents with the Crowell family. After we left Aunt Jenny's, we took the kids to the Christmas Eve Service at Fellowship Bible Church. They really seemed to enjoy it, as did Mark and I. The service is geared towards kids and families and Cooper and Sophie love that they get to hold up glow sticks when the adults light candles for the "candlelight" part of the service. Sophie enjoyed singing the songs and standing on her chair.

A "few" of the Dossetts.
